Privacy information
ReelDock processes the Instagram URL you submit to attempt to find a publicly available video media link. You do not need to create an account or supply Instagram credentials.
Download processing
The server does not download, store, or proxy video files. It may request public post information from Instagram to obtain a media URL. It temporarily holds a short-lived link token in server memory (approximately two minutes). Clicking a video link redirects your browser to an external Instagram media delivery server, subject to that server’s own privacy practices.
Abuse prevention
The application temporarily holds connecting IP addresses and request timestamps in server memory for request-rate limiting (a 15-minute window). Hosting providers and reverse proxies may maintain their own access logs, and their settings are managed separately.
Browser use
The app uses your browser's clipboard only when you press Paste and your browser grants access. This starter app does not include advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or a user database.
Before publishing
This page describes the starter application's current behavior, not any future integrations. Site operators should review it and publish operator contact details, retention disclosures, and any legally required privacy notice before launching publicly.
